Review: Collection 2000 Cream Puff

I was looking through the Collection 2000 make-up stand in Boots trying to find the all-so famous Lasting Perfection Concealer. While looking through the stand, I noticed the Collection 2000 Cream Puff, which states that it is a moisturising lip cream. I have never tried a lip cream before, so I was eager to try it out.

 

When I first swatched it on my hand, I was blown away by the texture of it. It was very creamy and felt very moisturising. I would describe it as a moisturising, matte lipstick in a tube. The colour is a lovely pinky-orange so for £2.99, you cannot go wrong!

Unfortunately, it did not apply on my lips as well as it did swatched. The colour looked much more vibrant swatched then it did on the lips. The product just caused flakiness on my lips and lasted for only about an hour. Also, there was hardly any product in the tube!

I have a love/hate relationship with this product, one minute I think its amazing and looks great on the lips, but mostly I feel like it dries out my lips like most matte lip products. I would recommend this product as it was only £2.99, but I do think you can get better products for the same price- you just have to look!!!
